This blaze of brilliant style, this irresistible thunderbolt, is ready to seduce owners and devotees of the Riva legend around the world.
Riva 88′ Folgore is the new sportfly with a difference: potent and revolutionary with an almost sci-fi beauty, this is a yacht that is made to dazzle.
The magnetic allure of her design is all in the harmony between past and present, in the concept that unites innovative materials like carbon with traditional stylish features from mahogany inlay to decorative steel.
Like all the masterpieces in Riva’s recent history, the 88′ Folgore is a product of the partnership between Officina Italiana Design (the studio founded by Mauro Micheli with Sergio Beretta), the Product Strategy Committee headed by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

One thing you can always be sure of with a Riva is that you’ll have plenty of power in reserve. The 88ft Folgore may be 80 tons, but she has an impressive performance, with a top speed of 36 knots from the standard engines, or 38 knots with the larger option. That means a cruising speed of 30 knots and 32 knots respectively – which would be top speed for most similar sized boats. As for the ride, it’s blissfully smooth at anything up to force 3, and even beyond that this mighty machine will throw aside a modest sea with barely a murmur.

The decor throughout the 88 Folgore is simply breathtaking, as you'd expect from Riva. It's the fine details that make the difference between the excellent and the exceptional, all crafted with meticulous care and enhanced by some exquisite touches of colour, materials and finishes. This is interior design at its very best. The 88 Folgore has 3 double suites and one twin, with the galley and crew quarters separate and self-contained towards the stern. The huge full-beam owner's suite offers a choice of either his & hers bathrooms, or one huge bathroom spanning the full beam of the boat.

At first glance you would hardly notice that the 88 Folgore is actually a flybridge yacht with a substantial top deck, Riva's designers have done such a good job of concealing the top deck in that beautifully sleek, flowing profile. And the way they have so discretely and elegantly incorporated huge windows, both in the saloon and in the hull for the lower deck, is sheer genius. Every inch of deck space is used to superb effect, including a wonderful aft deck dining area, extensive seating and lounging areas on the flybridge and even more on the foredeck.
